Welcome to Suffolk Wellbeing

Life can get on top of us all at times due to work related issues, family worries, sleep difficulties or physical health problems.

Living Life aims to be an empowering and practical way of learning key life skills that can boost your mood and help you turn the corner.

Living Life uses resources based on the proven cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach and are provided by the Suffolk Wellbeing, including free courses addressing low mood and stress, information for new parents, and courses to help people living with a long term physical health condition and more.

This website is for people aged 16 and over living in the Suffolk area, who are registered with a local GP practice.

Optional support phone calls by Suffolk Wellbeing coaching staff:

This service is particularly suitable for anyone aged 16 or over with common mental health and emotional issues such as low mood, stress, anxiety and depression. Courses are also available if you are living with long-term physical health problems such as diabetes, chronic pain, heart, chest or other illness. Finally, Suffolk Wellbeing have a great range of training modules for new mums and mums to be and their wider families.

Suffolk Wellbeing would also like to offer you the option of free, short support phone calls from one of our friendly, locally based NHS coaches. If you take this offer up, the support calls each last up to around 30 minutes at a time that suits. The coach will offer hints, tips and encouragement to help you stay on track (usually up to four short support contacts – occurring once a fortnight). You will also get the opportunity to monitor your mood and review your progress.

Of course, if you’d prefer to work on things by yourself that is also a great option. You can always contact Suffolk Wellbeing later if you feel you need added support.

Paid for by the NHS this is completely free as a resource for locally based GP practices whether you choose to work on it independently or opt to ask for the phone coaching sessions.
